Contracts
-
Contract Review: Whether it’s an agreement you’ve been using for years or an agreement you received from another party, we have you covered. We can review your contracts to ensure that your business is protected.
-
Contract Negotiation: Negotiation is a four-letter word to some people. You don’t have to sign an agreement that doesn’t work for you. We can review the agreement, make suggestions, and help you work with the other party to come to terms that work for everyone.
-
Contract Drafting: If you need a brand new agreement drafted, we can assist — client, contractor and employment agreements are all in our wheelhouse. We’ll work with you to determine exactly what you need in your contract.
Website Policies
-
Privacy Policies: If you have a website, you need a privacy policy. This document guides your audience on what type of information you collect and how you use it. We have extensive experience drafting GDPR and CCPA-compliant policies for many types of businesses.
-
Terms of Use: Many people think their website doesn’t need terms of use because almost no one reads the fine print. Your website’s terms of use are your contract with your audience and define how they can use your site. Let us help you get this handled once and for all.
-
Disclaimers: For businesses operated by licensed professionals or are information based, having your disclaimers in order is critical. If you offer information on your website, make sure you have a disclaimer to protect you from liability. Work with us to get your disclaimers in place.
Intellectual Property
-
Trademarks: Protect your brand and products with a trademark. We can assist with searches and the registration process. Trademarks represent your brand in commerce, so make sure your product names, logos and all things related to your brand are covered.
-
Copyrights: Copyrights protect your expression of ideas — think copy, videos, or photos. We can assist with copyright registrations and infringement claims.
-
Licensing: If you are licensing your copyrighted work, make sure you are protected with a licensing agreement
-
Certification Programs: Are you using your intellectual property to certify others? Make sure you have the protection you need.
ECommerce
-
Ecommerce Policies: Having the right policies in place can help protect your business and may assist with customer disputes. We can help with crafting refund policies, licenses for digital products, money-back guarantee guidelines, and membership site policies.
-
Affiliate Program Terms: If you’re working with affiliates to promote your ecommerce business, make sure you have terms that govern your relationship. We’ll help you draft terms that cover key items from payouts to use of intellectual property and everything in between.
-
FTC Guidance & Compliance: If you work with affiliates or influencers to promote your products, you need to be aware of the FTC’s guidelines on testimonials and endorsements. We can assist in crafting FTC guidelines and FTC compliance programs for your business.
